Jessica worked as a technician from
June 2003 through May 2004. She tested
methods for fungal herbarium DNA extraction, sequenced numerous fungi,
worked on developing techniques for fragment separation on the Transgenomic
WAVE, and was generally a great asset to the lab.
She then entered the MS program at Kansas State University
and has now completed her degree. She has now begun a PhD at the
University of Minnesota with Randy Hicks and Mike Sadowsky.
