RESEARCH INTERESTS

Robert Burgess is a PhD student at UAF working with Lee Taylor and Mary Beth Leigh identifying microbial degraders of lignocellulose with stable isotope probing (SIP). He is interested in climate change feedbacks, C cycling, plant-fungal interactions, and biofuels.

EDUCATION

Robert studied at UAF as an undergraduate and earned his BS in biology in 2007.
