First time traveling to the Toolik Field Station.
Not quite sure where to start.
Here is the information you need to make travel decisions.
TRAVEL TO ALASKA: Fairbanks, Anchorage or Prudhoe Bay???
OPTION #1
Fly to Anchorage from point in lower 48 states.
Overnight in Anchorage.
Alaska Airlines Flight 53 or 50 on Thursday to Prudhoe Bay (Deadhorse)
Toolik Taxi van via Dalton Highway to Toolik Field Station.
The Toolik Taxi van only runs Monday and Thursday.

Dalton Highway Express van via Dalton Highway to Toolik Field Station.

TRAVEL TO LOWER 48
You basically have the same three options but travel Southbound. You need to be aware of the following:
Toolik Taxi leaves at 10:00 AM so only schedule Alaska Airlines Flight 54/50 or you must overnight in Prudhoe Bay for the next morning early flight.
Science trucks leave about 9:00 AM and arrives Fairbanks about 7:00 PM
Dalton Toolik Run leaves at 8:30 AM on Saturday and arrives Fairbanks about 8:30 PM
Dalton Express leaves in afternoon and arrives Fairbanks about 12 :00 AM
