FIELD SEASON 2009
It's time again to request space in the Incubation Facility. You have until April 5, 2009 to request use of any of the baths. Describe in detail the nature of the bath use and any flexibility and ability to share the space. This way I can try to eliminate scheduling conflicts and to let you know if you need to either scale back your experiments or find alternative methods. If you request use of the facility after April 5, I will process those requests on a first come, first serve basis.
There are six, 27 sq ft (750 L) incubation baths. Each is equipped with a 1000W grow light and 1/3 HP chiller/heater. The incubation baths will be divided amongst users according to the following scheme. This scheme is flexible and might be adjusted if use requires.
- Two baths will be for long term incubations: two or more months
- Two baths will be for intermediate term incubations: one to two months
- Two baths will be available for short term incubations: one to three weeks
New for 2009 is a dry incubator: A Geneva Scientific I-36NL
