Core Lab Equipment: Illumina BeadStation 500X
Description:
The Illumina BeadStation 500X supports Gene Expression profiling of focused
sets of genes and whole genomes. It enables a wide range of sample throughput
(16-192 samples/day) and broad experimental scale (6000-300,000 genotypes
per day). The Bead Array Reader is a confocal scanner with < 1 micron
resolution for use with Sentrix® Array Matrices and Sentrix® BeadChips.
The Core Lab also has the Illumina Hybridization oven with BeadChip Hyb wheel
model 5420.
User information:
The Illumina is NOT supported by the Core Lab technicians (we do not run samples for people or supply consumables for this instrument). It is currently not on a service contract. If you have a large project that you would like to run on this instrument contact the Core Lab.
