Description:
ProteinChip Biomarker system with Surface Enhanced Laser Desorption/ionization
(SELDI) technology (biomarker quantification, interaction difference mapping,
purification and identification, expression difference mapping. Basically a time of flight mass spectrometer for proteins.
User information:
The Ciphergen is NOT supported by the Core Lab technicians (we do not run samples for people or supply consumables for this instrument). BioRad has dropped this system from there service programs becuase they only support the newest version. If you have a large project that you would like to run on this instrument contact the Core Lab.
