Core Lab Equipment: Beckman Coulter L-100XP Optima Ultracentrifuge

Description:

Operates at speeds of 1,000-100,000 rpm depending on rotor.
w2t- can perform runs based on this value, or can calculate the value for any given run parameters.
Temperature range from 1 to 40 degrees C, in one degree increments.
10 acceleration profiles
11 deceleration profiles

All runs performed on this instrument must be recorded in the log book in order to keep accurate run histories for the rotors.

Warning:
Special tubes appropriate for the rotors are mandatory, and are not provided by the Core Lab. Please consult one of the Core Lab Techs before using this instrument.

Available Rotors:

Rotor name Number of tubes Volume range Max g force Max rpm
