Our goal is to make this model available to other researchers for use in studies relating the distribution of birds and mammals to resources in the Bering Sea. Usage of the model is at the users risk, we do not accept responsibility for inappropriate application of the model presented here. The model is a prediction of benthic biomass and may deviate from reality due to several reasons. We strongly advise users to understand the limitations of this model before applying it to their research.

To obtain a continuous surface map, we used an inverse distance weighing interpolation. The GIS layer for the interpolated map is available upon request.
